The winning men's and women's teams of the JUNIOR SWATCH-FIVB World Championships will
have the right to take part in the main draw of one FIVB-Swatch World Tour event scheduled in
2011. The FIVB will grant a wild card at a World Tour event to the two gold medalists winning teams; the wild cards should be mutually agreed by the FIVB, the National Federation of the teams concerned and the Youth World Championships Organizers.

The promoter of the JUNIOR SWATCH-FIVB World Championships will bear the international travel costs in economy class for the 2 winning teams to the above mentioned events.
The teams ranked in the first three places will receive medals at the EVENT.

All athletes participating must be born on January 1, 1991 or thereafter. Only National Federations that will send by the 15th August 2010 the FIVB Junior World Championships Athlete's agreement and Team Entry form along with a copy of their passport can be considered eligible to take part in the event.

It is mandatory to appoint a Head Delegate to accompany all teams from each country. By 22nd August 2010, the Turkish Volleyball Association will communicate to all parties the definitive list of eligible participating teams in the Main Draw and in the Qualification Tournament, along with the final Event's Regulations.

Qualification Criteria: TEAMS WILL BE SELECTED TO PLAY IN THE EVENT IN PRIORITY AS
FOLLOWS:
1 - The 2009 SWATCH FIVB Beach Volleyball Junior World Championships ranking
2 - National Federations promoting FIVB World Tour events (In priority Grand Slam, Double
Gender's Open, Single Gender's Open) in 2010
3 - Countries hosting Challenger and/or Satellite events in 2010
4 - The countries with (senior) players featured in the FIVB World Ranking
5 - National Federations promoting continental events grass roots activities
6 - Each continent will be guaranteed one team in the main draw, if not already qualified through points 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5

COUNTRY QUOTA:  2 host country teams, 1 team per foreign country through NF nomination. Each foreign NF may have the possibility to provisionally enroll a second team per gender's event to fill the roster of the main draw or of the qualification tournament. The first team having the priority and the second team must be declared 30 days before the start of the event through the appropriate FIVB form herein attached (WCH U-21) and posted onto the website.

DEADLINE TO ENTER: 15th August 2010

Each National Federation is responsible for informing immediately both the FIVB and the
Organizers in case of forfeit of an enrolled team through the WT/03 form (from -21 days to the start of the qualification tournament technical meeting).

Rules for Pool Ranking
Winner earns 2 points, Loser earns 1 point for the match

All Athletes and Delegates must attend the mandatory Preliminary Inquiry.

If required by the FIVB Technical Supervisor, uniforms and accessories will be checked during the Preliminary Inquiry. Athletes of the same team must wear the same color and style of shorts.
The display of the individual players' sponsors' logos on shorts and accessories must comply with the FIVB advertising regulations. While tank tops will be provided by the Organizers to the
athletes, shorts/bottoms and accessories must be provided by the players and/or by their sponsors. Uniforms will also be provided by the Organizers to officials Organizing staff members and volunteers. The display of the Athletes' sponsors' logos on shorts/briefs and accessories is free as long as it complies with FIVB advertising regulations.
(Presence of FIVB Title Sponsor (Swatch), country code and FIVB number is mandatory on all tops and tank tops).

Seeding regulations will be announced at the technical meeting of the Qualification Tournament and Main Draw.

Playing system

Rally Point System 2 out of 3 sets as follows:

a) First and second sets

• 21 Points
• switch every 7 points
• one technical time-out of 30" at third court switch (sum of 21 points)
• one time-out of 30" per team/set

b) Third eventual set

• 15 points
• switch every 5 points
• one time-out per team

All sets win by 2 points
Intervals between sets to be of 1 minute

Starting from 2008 the FIVB and the promoter will implement the ball handling procedure.

During the 2008 season, the new wording for Rule 15 "PLAYER AT THE NET" will be fully implemented after the approval of the 2006 World Congress in Japan.

The FIVB Official Beach Volleyball Rules approved by the FIVB Board of Administration are included in the Beach Volleyball Referee Guidelines and posted on the FIVB Web site at http://www.fivb.org/Beach

The travel form (WT/31b) has to be sent by the athletes to the Organizer at the latest 3 days before the start of the event.  The above is to be sent to Ms Zeynep ÇİNİOĞLU, to the following e-mail: zeynep@sultd.com.tr

Each NF is responsible for the travel of their teams and head of delegation. (Closest international airport: Antalya, 120km from the venue)

Athletes (or their National Federations) will be requested to apply early enough for their entry visas, whenever needed and will be accountable for all visa expenses.

All local transportation for all participating main draw teams, head of delegations and all officials will be ensured by SU Ltd to/from Antalya International airport as well as to/from the hotel to the competition venue.

The promoter will bear the costs of board and lodging for all participating teams, in the main draw (total of 48 teams) from the evening of Wednesday, 15th September until  breakfast on the morning of Monday, 20th September 2010.
The promoter will not cover any board and lodging expenses for the qualification competition teams, coaches, NF head of delegation, athletes' parents or other people accompanying the
players.
Athletes are responsible for any and all extra expenses at the hotel such as mini-bar, phone calls, laundry, etc. These expenses must be paid at checkout.

The organizers will not be required to make reservations for coaches, guests, teams' physiotherapists, friends, or family members accompanying the participating athlete.

Organizers will provide all Organizing Committee members, FIVB Officials, referees, athletes, VIP's, journalists, technical staff, court personnel, volunteers, etc. with an official accreditation card and will ensure that only people with appropriate accreditation will access the designated venue areas. Organizers are also requested to provide accreditation cards for one coach and one physiotherapist per team (exclusively if the individual concerned is enlisted in the FIVB Website under the following links):

Withdrawal and/or disbanding of teams/athletes entered in the event is allowed in accordance with 2009 World Tour regulations.

In case of withdrawal and/or disbanding of teams/athletes entered in the Main Draw once the
confirmed list has been announced without any Medical Certificate or declaration of good faith
presented at the latest during the Technical Meeting of the Main Draw, the FIVB will apply a USD 500 fine. This fine must be paid before the start of the following event in which a team wants to enter (if no events are staged, the fine must be paid no later than 30 days from the notification of the sanction).

The proof of the wire must be sent via fax to the FIVB.

Athletes in the Main Draw may be replaced by any team member for reasons of "force majeure" for a 30 day period (keeping its Main Draw status) only once during the season, and for one Tournament only. In the event an athlete in the Main Draw is replaced by any team member for reasons of "force majeure" for a second time during the season, the team concerned will then lose its Main Draw status and be automatically placed in the Qualification Tournament.

Withdrawal and/or disbanding of teams/athletes entered in the Qualification Tournament is not allowed once the confirmed list has been announced, except in case of "force majeure" or in case an athlete is injured. In such cases, a Medical Certificate or a declaration of good faith must be provided to the FIVB before the beginning of the Technical Meeting of the Qualification Tournament.

In case of withdrawal and/or disbanding of teams/ athletes entered in the Qualification
Tournament once the confirmed list has been announced without any Medical Certificate or
declaration of good faith presented at the latest during the Technical Meeting of the Qualification Tournament, the FIVB will then apply a USD 100 fine. This fine must be paid before the start of
the following event in which a team would like to enter (if no events are staged, the fine must be paid no later than 30 days from the notification of the sanction). The proof of the wire must be sent via fax to the FIVB.

Athletes who have not communicated their travel itineraries to the organizers and who arrive late for the Technical Meeting (i.e after the seeding is made) will be excluded from the event by the FIVB Technical Supervisor for "no show" or fined.

Athletes failing to attend the Technical Meeting and who have not sent via fax the appropriate "force majeure" documents before the start of the event concerned will be sanctioned by the FIVB.

Should it be proven that a National Federation is responsible for not communicating to the FIVB a Player's medical certificate for the withdrawal from an event, the National Federation shall be fined instead of the concerned Player. (see above)

No changes between the teams enrolled in the Qualification and Main Draw Tournaments will be made after the beginning of the Technical Meeting of the Qualification Tournament.
The FIVB Web site will be updated after every withdrawal and substitution of players approved by the FIVB once the confirmed list issued

Notification for last minute withdrawals (i.e. on the day of a Technical Meeting) must be sent via fax to the FIVB Beach Volleyball Department (+ 41 21 345 35 48) as well as to the organizers of the event and the FIVB Technical Supervisor at the venue office.

The FIVB reserves the right to perform random medical controls to the participating athletes, as per FIVB rules and regulations and alcohol test to the officials.
